Lately

I think this was after dinner on Sunday March 14th. All our funny faces happen to include contorting our mouths. Aaron just happens to do that on a regular basis.
I went on a trip to AZ March 17-21 for my sister and mom's spring break. While I'll was gone, Bryan took the girls tent camping with the boy scouts at Willard Bay (near Ogden). When they left the house, it started snowing. Bryan bought the girls hand and feet warmers and so they latest pretty well through the night. They tried fishing twice but didn't catch anything. They ate hot dogs, marshmallows, and hot chocolate with pancakes for breakfast. They all had a great time and we plan to go camping as a family over spring break i.
After the camping, they went to the Bird Refuge and had a great time learning about water conservation and taking care of our earth. They also got their faces painted- Emily a tiger and Ashley a butterfly. This is my cute welcome home sign they made me for when I got home.

Family night on the 1st

On Monday nights we usually hang out as a family and do something together. Last Monday it was 'girls get to use the camera' fun. Here's what we came up with-
For some reason Bryan's mouth looks really big in this pic, almost like Scream. And yes I have spaghetti sauce on my shirt from dinner.

Funny pics

Aaron with his patch on getting fed by Bryan's dad while in Houston. These days Aaron is a big eater! It's a battle with him to keep his hand out of his mouth long enough to put the food in. Aaron is making the grumpiest face! He was in the jonny-jump-up and was making funny talking noises but was getting ready for a nap. Ashley is the best friend to him.
I love this smile! Also in this picture is Bryan's mom.

Bry and I

Taken in January, reading Cyrus the sea serpent. It's hard to believe how much changes in a couple months. Mostly I notice Aaron got bigger and all our hair got longer.

Bryan got busted sneaking some more of his birthday peach cinnamon cake his mom made him while at his parents. He and his dad loved riding bikes around town while we were there.

Here's all the 3 girls with our crazy hair. I'd forgotten how much I like my hair crimped.

Bryan's dream come true- our basement recording studio is done! We finished working on it in January. Although there are still things not completed, he is done for now. He works from home most every day in this room with the space heater on and his music blasting while still in his pjs. He loves it. And I love him being home and having the convenience to leave Aaron asleep while I drive the girls to and from school.

Emily

Emily loves pulling out her own loose teeth. She has lost 3 so far and when she decides it's ready to come out, she will pull/yank/twist as we all nauseously fascinated watch her. We missed capturing the tooth coming out, but this shows right after it came out.

Emily had crazy hair day at school and so we put rollers in her bangs, crimped one pony tail, straightened the other pony tail and put flowers and clips on the top. It was crazy!

Ashley

Ashley loves pink! We found the books called Pinkilicious and Purplicious and have enjoyed them for several months. Then we found the new one- Goldilicious, where Pinkilicious girl invents an imaginary friend- a white unicorn she names Goldy. Here is Ashley being Pinkilicious with her own white unicorn. My baby Ashley will be turning 4 this month. She is a shy girl, is an excellent drawer (you should see her artwork at her new school!) and is the sweetest big sister.

We visited Bryan's parents in Houston for a week in early February. Ashley loved playing with a magnetic doll dress-up set. She got a bunch of pink hair clips in her stocking. Usually she likes wearing all of them at the same time. We started with 20 but are down to 12 now. The dog she is holding is one of her favorite stuffed animals. She named it Molly after the dog we had visit us last year who was the same color.

The dress-up outfit and 'breakable' dolly came from Grammy. She is in princess heaven.

Aaron

Aaron is seen throughout the day with his fingers in his mouth. Either hand is fine, but 4 fingers always.
